Leica Geosystems Machine Control Division is located in the beautiful city of Odense, Denmark. We are a global company of great diversity with employees working across the world, hence you will interface with colleagues in/from many other countries and you can expect international traveling. The Group Controlling Department acts as support and advisor to the divisional team members and middle management and drives key processes such as business review, sales analysis, forecast process and target dialog with the entire organisation. Together with the Divisional Controller and the Business Support Centre you have plenty opportunities to take responsibility and drive your own tasks while being surrounded by colleagues with high ambitions.

Key responsibilities
In the role as Business Controller, you work with processes related to the monthly reporting and performance management across the division while also contributing to various projects. You will be responsible for supporting the machine control division and collaborate with international business partners. Your task will include the following:

Monthly reports and presentations for management e.g. analysis of sales orders, margins, variances and OPEX etc.

• High level support and pro-actively advice to management on a range of financial and accounting issues
• Formulate actions and actively steer their implementation through the respective responsible in the organization
• Worldwide monthly forecasts, annual budgets in accordance with company guidelines
• Support and overview of production planning as well as standard cost calculation

We are looking for a talented finance professional with strong personal impact
We expect you to have a MSc in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in similar position, preferably within a global company. Aside from this, the following qualities are pivotal: 

• Proven financial and managerial accounting, and reporting skills
• Demonstrated high-level analytical skills and can transform data into insights
• You speak and write English fluently
• Experience with SAP and Business Information Warehouse
• Fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Additionally, you have a strong eye for detail and appreciate the importance of being meticulous. With your analytical mind-set and attitude for logical thinking, you lay out compelling arguments for your colleagues across the business and get your point across
