About the department
Biopharm API hGH produces growth hormone and includes fermentation, coarse and fine purification. The department counts approx. 110 employees and is responsible for the product until released to our filling factory.
About the team
Our team is called "Support Automation and IT" and counts 8 dedicated employees with backgrounds as engineers and technicians. In general, we provide technical sparring, systematic problem solving, ongoing maintenance and optimization of the department's production management systems and IT equipment. In addition, we ensure that our platform is always in line with the increasing regulatory requirements. The team supports DeltaV and Siemens PCS7 as SCADA as well as two different MES systems, including IMS.
The job
Your primary task will be to implement a new MES system and at a later stage upgrade PCS Delta V. In addition, you will have to learn PCS Delta V in order to optimize our aging processes. When you implement and optimize our systems, you must also contribute to the preparation and approval of required documentation and ensure that changes to our systems are tested, validated and documented.
Qualifications
You have a technical background as automation technician or engineer and you have broad experience with PCS and MES systems. It is a big advantage if you have experience with DeltaV or the like and MES systems as PAS-X or Syncade. If you are untrained in our systems, it is required that you are a fast learner and not afraid to jump in at the deep end. It is a necessity that you are costumer/user oriented and are used to talk to and understand the end-users.
You thrive in an everchanging work environment, where re-prioritization is ongoing and discussions can become heated at production stops. You have the desire to work in a GMP-regulated industry, where it is important to know what the required and sufficient level of documentation is. Therefore, it is also an advantage that you have experience with GMP and qualification in a production unit.
