We are located right in the centre of Denmark in the city of Odense, but have employees working across the world, in intercultural teams and in many European countries. As our After Support Coordinator you will report directly to our Aftermarket Manager and be an important player in our Aftermarket Organization. The organization provides high quality support to our global network of sales units and dealers, so you will interface with colleagues in many other countries and can expect some domestic and international traveling. We offer We are offering a very interesting global position in our Aftermarket Department, bridging Aftermarket, Product Management and Support. You will be responsible for running our Technical Support function. The actual support solving is performed by our Specialist Application Engineers based in Odense, Stockholm and Heerbrugg who have the deepest knowledge about our technologies, but it will be your job to coordinate all of the incoming and ongoing support cases. Over time, we expect you to gain the technical expertise to solve an increasing amount of support incidents yourself, so it is a must that you have a keen interest in learning our solutions and technologies. Further, it will be your job to attend and proactively promote cross functional teamwork, in order to share knowledge, attend development projects and share experience gained from our markets. Statistical reporting from Technical Support is also of great importance to this position. Key responsibilities As our Aftermarket Support Coordinator, your task will include the following: Securing proactive support management to local support teams in the Group Selling Regions (GSR’s) in order to resolve technical issues Secure a tight and systematically follow up on the progress of all open support cases, special focus on agreed timelines Maintain a complete understanding of the products in the Machine Control Construction product range and be able to identify problems and their solutions, solve the incidents or appoint the right application specialist Identify and document technical issues as they become apparent and work collaboratively with product management to ensure understanding of the issues, their causes and frequency Escalation of critical support issues involving stakeholders on more levels in various departments Support management in the periodic review of regional support issues to identify recurring product failures requiring enhancement Contribution to the development and maintenance of support function processes; actively maintain support database through capturing of support issues and resolutions Reporting on current support issues, including updates on status and resolution methods, ensuring documentation (e.g. issue logs) is maintained appropriately Knowledge sharing with support teams in the GSR’s and relevant internal stakeholders to ensure transfer of knowledge and ample coverage of required duties Your profile We expect you to have a relevant technical and/or practical education within electric, electronics or automation systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.
